Canning StreetForest School Update - Summer 2
The season of spring has passed and we are enjoying the summer! As always, when we move from one season to another there are so many things to look forward to. The pond will be full of lots of lovely water lilies and our tadpoles (hiding underneath the lilies) will be changing into little froglets before completing their amazing transformation into frogs! At the same time, we are hoping that all the digging, seed planting and watering the children have done this spring will result in a wonderful display of flowers especially some bee friendly flowers and wild meadow flowers! The children will also continue to watch our apple, cherries and raspberries continue their own journey from flowers to fruits! As well as all that, another group of very lucky children will have the opportunity of visiting Scotswood Garden. Back at Canning Street’s own Forest School, we will continue to offer lots of exciting and adventurous activities to as many children as we can!
