Forest School Summer Term

It’s been another super-exciting half term at Forest School! Not only have more and more children from across the school had the opportunity to enjoy our Forest School but some very lucky children have been jumping on a minibus every Thursday afternoon to visit the nearby Scotswood Garden! What have they been doing there? Well, on top of having a fantastic time, they have been challenging themselves by taking on some more adventurous Forest School activities. Also, through exploring things for themselves, they have become increasingly confident in their own abilities to carefully enjoy and play outdoors, alongside nature, in a ‘forest’ environment. All the time they have also been ‘building up’ their Forest School skills, like shelter building, almost without noticing! The photographs and smiles say it all!
