We had a lovely afternoon this week looking for signs of Autumn. We went out into the yard, looked at how the trees were changing colour and we collected some leaves. Back in the classroom the children described why they chose the leaves. They used words such as red, big, colourful and favourite.

We then drew the leaves and labelled them with all the describing words and the children enjoyed doing leaf rubbings.

We tasted different apples from Braeburn and Granny Smiths. When the apple was sour the children's faces were a picture.
