Waste Week 2017
The children enjoyed taking part in Waste Week which culminated in an assembly where they shared the final products that they made from recycling and up-cycling gardening equipment. Each year group demonstrated their creativity with a range of new products such as beanstalks, wind spinners, planters made from clothing and even a dog made from pots!
It is really important to reduce the amount of waste that is thrown into landfill sites, as it is harmful to the environment. The children now have lots of new ideas about how to put old objects to new uses!
