Home Learning for Isolating Bubbles

Dear Parents,
We are committed to providing high quality online learning for children who are required to isolate for Covid reasons.
The main provider of this learning is The Oak Academy - a highly regarded online teaching system whereby qualified teachers guide your child through carefully-structured lessons.
In the event that a year group has to isolate, we will put a link to a sequence of lessons which your child can then work through. They will need: a quiet space to work; a pen/pencil and some paper.
If you have any issues/queries, please give us a ring.
Thank you
Week commencing 12th October 2020
YEAR THREE: Mrs Bewley has found an exciting book for you to study this week - it is called The Firework-Maker's Daughter. Take a look at the activities she has planned for you to do in the document below. There are also some maths puzzles and challenges and even some science. Remember to bring your completed activities into school when you return - we would love to see them!
YEAR FIVE: Miss McGee has planned a fabulous-looking week of learning for you, including studying a novel by the very popular children's author, David Walliams. We can't wait to hear what you think about this.... Click on the file below to see what you will be learning.
YEAR FOUR: Mrs Burridge has put together some lovely lessons to help you improve your sentences. You will also be doing some work on the well-known Beatrix Potter story, Peter Rabbit. As well as this, there are some arithmetic challenges to keep your maths skills fresh. Pick the level of challenge that is right for you!
